WHAT

 

Computational Biology & Neuroinformatics School aims at spreading knowledge about computational methods in biology and neuroscience among undergraduate students, postgraduate students, PhD students and university staff. Our school is mainly focused on R programming language, its basic usage for scientific programming and data processing and on modern approaches in creating abstract models for biological studies.

WHEN

The school will take place on May, 16th, 2016 - May, 21th, 2016.

The study time during the first part of the school will be divided for 3 sessions per day:

1) Theoretical and demonstration lectures

2) Practical session

3) Evening lectures and discussions.

Each session will last for up 2 hours.

During the school period, invited lecturers will make presentations on programming methods in biological research.

Each participant is free to attend any session he/she likes.

WHERE

The school  will take place in EENU recreation centre on Svityaz lake.
